The last couple of days have been filled with tests and making a  few basic items for Fringe in the Park on Saturday.

I have been focusing on speedy construction. This work isn't suppose to be a highly polished item rather a 3D sketch that never ends.

I have run into a few issues with the Makedo fasteners. Not in their function, rather getting my head around the limitations of construction eg. you need to get to both sides of what you are assembling to fasten the to pieces of a Makedo fastener. Not especially an issue it just means you need to think about how you are going to close off an item.

I have been adopting a 'reverse plug' way of finishing off an end of a box etc. where you make a cap up and invert it inside the object so you end up with a dished flange that you can then fasten through. Makes a nice strong joint.

Makedo update 2

Note behind the arrow is the completed camera enclosure to house the lappie and camera to get the stop motion frames for the build vid. will be anchored to the wall and lockable.
