I am utilising my Canon EOS 450D and Laptop with the EOS Utility on it to take the frames. The utility is quite a powerful piece of software allowing you to control the settings of the camera a setup shutter delays to your specs.
Below are a couple of vids I have created using the demo version of A4 Video Converter, a simple piece of software and it is allowing me to create vids that are 4 times the frame size of HD video.
The video above is a simple time lapse over 7hours, pretty boring but was good to run through the process. The watermark in the center id due to using a demo version.
